             GROUP VERSE: COME INSIDE — IT’S A DREAM!



You’re inside. You don’t know how, but you were somehow lulled into the mysterious carnival. There’s many other children around you. Some you even recognize as your friends. As you observe the wide scope of buildings, attractions && fellow guests that lies ahead of you, you can’t help but feel      UNEASY.      It seems too good to be true — a carnival for children, run by self-aware animatronics && a small girl you’ve never seen in town before — but you shake it off. Force yourself to walk forwards into the crowd of kids that surrounds you. Little do you know, there’s no turning back now. They’ve got you wrapped around their fingertips. Welcome to the Greatest Show Unearthed.



This verse, named “Come Inside — It’s A Dream!” is based off the song “The Greatest Show Unearthed” by Creature Feature. It tells of a strange carnival run by the Nightmare Animatronics that lures children inside. However, once inside the show, they can never return. && once the show has claimed the lives of enough children, it seems to disappear into thin air, leaving nothing behind but the memory of those who were lost. 

Inside the carnival, it appears as a regular fair. However, the attractions have deadly twists && turns. One wrong move, && you’re as good as dead. After a few hours, as the children begins to realize something is wrong, the power is cut, the lights on the rides go out, the entire attraction is pitch-black. From now on, it’s a deadly game of hide && seek. Those who are caught first meet an unspeakably violent death at the hands of the attraction workers. Those who are lucky enough to survive several hours, however, are forced to become part of the carnival, operating the lethal machines && serving the two ringleaders forever.
