Before, Eliza would’ve been afraid of such a HORRIFIC display, would’ve screamed. cowered in fear, run to her parents as fast as her legs could carry her. But now, there is no fear in the child’s expression.
By now, Eliza’s seen so much worse.
The little girl blinks, making sure the creature is indeed there, and not just some NIGHTMARISH hallucination.
